All players will get 5 minutes of warm up before each game.

 

Rules regarding start times:

If a team refuses to send players out for the start of the game they will receive a 2 minute minor. The clock will continue to run and at the 10 minute mark if they still have not put a team onto the ice they will receive another minor (consecutive to the first). The same will happen at the 5 minute mark. A team can use their 2 minute timeout to stop the clock and try to avoid being given the minor penalty. There will be 1 minute between periods.

Periods: 3

Period length: 15 minutes

Overtime: 5 minutes - 4 on 4.

Should the game still be tied after overtime there will be a shoot out

 

3 round Shootout, if there is still a tie it goes to sudden death shoot out

 

The game clock will stop during all whistles unless:

There is less than 3 minutes remaining in the 3rd period, and a team has a lead of 3 goals or more.

Overtime rules: As in NHL, 4 on 4 with winner receiving 2 points and loser 1 point.

( 

Playoffs also goes to 4 on 4... 15 minutes... then shoot out ( pending ice time)

 

SUBSTITUTIONS

 

You are not allowed to pick up a sub unless it falls under the following circumstances.

 

-Your team only has 6 skaters + goalie ( 7 total players). If you only have 6 skaters at that point you are allowed to pick up one sub.

 

The replacement player has to be a player who was selected one round under the player he is replacing.

 

 

- The replacement can only play if it approved by the opposing Capitan and the commissioner.

 

- PLAYOFFS there are NO SUBS.

- The only player that can be replaced is a player who was selected in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd round. All other player may NOT be replaced. ( if you selected a goalie in the the first 3 rounds then you can replace a 4th round pick)

- The replacment MUST be a player who as selected in one round under the player he is replacing.

 

 

TIE BREAKERS

 

If Teams are tied these are the tie breaking procedure.

 

- Seeding is determined by PTS. ( You receive 2 pts for a win and 1 PT for a OT or SO loss.0 pts for a loss in regulation.)

 

- the first tie break is based on ROW, (Regulation and Over time Wins) This enforces the fact that Overtime wins weigh more then a shootout win.

 

- Head to Head.

 

- Goal Differential of entire season.

 

- Goal Differential between season series of 2 tied teams.

 

- Coin Flip

 

 

 

CONDUCT RULES

 

Fighting will not be tolerated at all in this league.

 

Fighting will have you thrown out of the game you are in as well as a one game suspension.

If there is a 2nd incident of this you will be thrown out of the league with out a refund.

 

Game Misconduct-

Will be under the referees discretion. League will review all Game misconduct, if deemed reasonable suspensions will be served for game misconduct pending on review from the commissioners office.

All teams make the.

 

Semi final round

#2 seed vs #3 seed in a one game semi final match up. Winner Advances to the finals

 

#1 seed vs the #4 sees in a best of 3 series. With the #1 seed going into the series with a 1-0 series lead.

 

Finals

Winner of the above matchups will play in a best of 3 game series.
